Food Experience - VEGANUARY in London



If going entirely vegan, eating less meat is definitely the thing for 2020. People are increasingly more aware of the meat industry's impact on environment and meat free dishes are increasingly more popular. More and more chefs feel the pressure not only for including vegan options on their menus, but also creating full vegan tasting menu options in fine dining as well. The new trend is growing so strong, we have two acknowledged London venues inviting us to vegan feasting in January.


Brindisa in Shoreditch is paying homage to a very specific type of onion celebrated in January in Catalonia. Their version of Cacotada festival will be a true vegan feast. Find more details and the full menu here.


The second restaurant inviting us to healthy indulgence is Petersham Nurseries in Covent Garden. Devised in collaboration between Anna Boglione – the daughter of the restaurant’s founder – and nutritionist Hannah Richards, the three-course menu costs just £25 and includes dishes of wild mushroom broth with Jerusalem artichokes and purple potato and chickpea tagine.
