Hospitality Trend - creating community

With the typical traveller moves more often and stays longer than in the past, hoteliers had to start re-thinking the role of a hotel. One thing that starts being obvious now, is the need for creating communities of likeminded guests. The modern urbanista, the proffessional on the road, needs not only top service, homely comfort and inspired experience, but he needs to feel connected to people. The proof is in the rising number of communal spaces. This article digs a bit deeper into the subject by trying to show the ways to encourage development of relationship between the guests, and also between the guests and locals.
