London Opening - Prada Marchesi 1824

It turns out not only finest Chef’s are racing against each other in London. The bar for pastry chefs was raising slowly but surely. Firstly we saw Dominique Ansell coming from NY, then we witnessed the bloom of nordic style bakeries. Finally we can see the trend for dessert clubs and dessert only restaurants hitting instagram like crazy. Now, with the opening of the iconic Prada Pasticceria on Mount Street as the first shop outside Milan, the competition for the best bakers and sugar magicians is higher than ever. Prada not only has put a huge and bright pin on the map for best designed coffee shops, but it also showcases the perfection of simple Italian pastry making.
