New Restaurant, London - Dominique Ansel’s Treehouse

This new restaurant experience comes from the World’s Best Pastry Chef, New Yorker Dominique Ansel. For all those crazy about cronuts that know what’s coming - the Treehouse has finally opened it’s doors. Ansel invites with a lush green entrance, a small wooden hut hanging above the entrance, and sitting as if cramped into a small space between branches and above the ground. Fairy lights and cabin like tables. Then the menu - small, classic, ideal. With each dish tempting the senses and watering the mouth. Ansel doesn’t play fair, as he hits all the wrong notes in our foodism - the total incapability in resisting guilty pleasures. A Camembert fondue with brioche crisps, home made pastas, fresh bread with tons of delicious cultured Edinburgh butter, chicken liver parfait - those are options for sharing. There is classical, very french inspired selection of bigger plates, and a list of desserts because of which we are already planning multiple visits.
