Argentinian Chef, trained by French masters, who has settled down in the glamorous French Riviera and opened Mirazur in 2006. The journey of Mauro Colagreco was long but persistent. He had his passion taken from home, his knowledge gained when working in Arpege and then in Plaza Athénée under Ducasse, and his vision that was growing inside. Mirazur has always been about the produce - vegetables from the own garden and anything edible coming from surrounding sea and mountains. Now, after 3 years of improvement and revamping period, the cascading gardens extended to three levels and are stunning. Colagreco has finally achieved the third Michelin Star, and yesterday was announced a winner of 50 best.
