Restaurant Awards - Another French Chef protests against Michelin
Marc Veyrat, whose restaurant La Maison de Bois in the Haut Savoie was stripped of a star just a year after it was awarded with the highest Michelin recognition of three bubbly red daisies, has written a letter demanding his restaurant to be excluded from the guide. He reasons the stress he faced after the publication of the guide, has put him in highly depressive state. He and his team were outraged when they read the review and put the actual inspectors’ visit. Apparently they insinuated Cheddar being used in the cheese souflee, and totally undermined all the effort the whole team puts into holistic approach to dining and food cultivation.
