Taste of London - Wolfgat is closing down so they can cook in London

Earlier this year, Wolfgat, a tiny 20 seater overlooking picturesque beach somewhere in South Africa, was recognised as the restaurant of the year on World Restaurant Awards ceremony back in February. Now the whole team of 6 chefs under the conductor and man behind the concept, Kobus van der Merwe is coming down to London to showcase their food during the next week’s Taste of London. Wolfgat was singled out for their “Hyper-local, considered, heritage, slow, seasonal Strandveld food served“.
